The Ward Office Building of Ward No. 20 under Pokhara Metropolitan City (PMC20) is being constructed at Bhalam, Pokhara-20, Kaski, as a government infrastructure project. The building is designed as a 4.5-storey structure with a semi-basement, covering a plinth area of 198.44 square meters with overall dimensions of 14.2m by 14m. The semi-basement has been designed to accommodate vehicle parking.
The project features stone cladding on the building’s exterior, tile work in the bathrooms, and granite finishing in the lobby and staircase areas. A 6-passenger elevator has also been installed to enhance accessibility across the building’s floors.
As of the current stage, all structural works, brickwork, plastering, stone cladding, tile work, granite work, elevator installation, painting, UPVC window fitting, and door works including 38mm Sal wood panel doors and 38mm ready-made teak wood doors have been completed. Electrical fitting, sanitary fitting, and landscape work are currently ongoing.
Construction began in Chaitra 2081, with completion targeted by the end of Asoj 2083. The total project cost stands at NPR 3.79 crore, inclusive of VAT.
