The Construction of the Polytechnic College at Balan Bihul Rural Municipality–01, Saptari is a government infrastructure project focused on developing a modern educational facility for technical and vocational education. The building is designed as a 3.5-storey reinforced concrete (RCC) structure, covering a plinth area of 520.8 square meters with overall dimensions of 30.5 meters in length and 17.36 meters in breadth. SKR Group is responsible for executing the complete structural works ensuring the building is constructed to high standards of quality, safety and durability.

The scope of work includes reinforcement, formwork, and RCC concreting for the entire structural framework. As of the current construction stage, the foundation, ground floor, first floor and second floor structural works have been successfully completed, while the top-floor staircase covering slab work is currently in progress. The project is being executed with strict quality control measures and engineering best practices to ensure long-term structural performance.

Construction is being carried out as a multi-year government project with an estimated contract value of NPR 3.5 crore (including VAT). The project is scheduled for completion by the end of Bhadra 2083 B.S., after which it will provide modern educational infrastructure to support technical education and skill development in the region.
